Letter #1 to citizens of BWO
This is my first letter to you all. In this letter, I have two important announcements-
New amendment to the constitution.
Good news for everyone in our country early.
1. New Amendment-
Previously, it was decided that verifiable citizens of BWO, i.e., those who hold a BWO NFT or BWO tokens, will be referred to as DeZens(Decentralized Citizens).
That is being changed.
From now, verifiable citizens of BWO have the right to use the title of Lord/Lady in their name. Most countries can assign titles to whoever they see fit. We can, too.
We are all part of a big movement, as citizens of the first decentralized, digital nation on Earth. It is quite natural that we each get conferred with a title that displays how important we all are.
You can change your names to add a “Lord” or “Lady” on whichever platform you see fit.
The token metadata of every BWO NFT also contains this declaration and can be viewed on the phantom wallet, or any wallet that supports displaying NFTs and their metadata.
(If you want to change your name officially in your geographical nation, you can- but understand that some geographical nation-states have laws against changing your name/putting titles before your name, so please consult a lawyer if you’re going to do something like that.)
2. Good news for everyone in our country early-
We currently have 450+ citizens on twitter, and most of these citizens are also subscribed to this letter.
We didn’t do any “Like, Retweet for a free duck NFT” campaigns, because we believe that’s a practice that disappoints a lot of people and attracts the attention of a lot of people who just seek a freebie.
Most projects do giveaways, because it is an easy way to get 1000 followers overnight. We’re not an NFT project. Our NFTs are citizenship certificates.
We are a country, and no one has been promised free stuff to join us yet.
This means that every citizen currently with us, has joined us, because they believe in the project. Before I move forward, I want to say THANK YOU to each and everyone of you.
Remember that this is an experiment and that there’s no guarantee of your citizenship NFTs ever having a price or being tradable on the open market.
Everything in the constitution that can change, will change, depending on the feedback we receive. It will take years for something like this to be succesful, and even then, it might not be. Hopefully, something useful will come out of this.
That’s all for now.
I write will end with a quote-
“You can’t win unless you try to win, but you can lose by trying not to lose.” ~Jack Campbell
Thank you for reading. Have a nice day/night wherever you are.
